Day 14: House of the Second Coat
The a/c decided to start dripping again last night. A lot. We're going to have to get that looked at, and soon.
But: we cracked open the Castle Stone paint again. Lea painted the laundry room before I got home from work. Go, Lea!
The laundry room was so filthy when we took possession we've been avoiding it altogether. I didn't even take a picture of it, since I didn't want to contaminate our camera. Now that the cleaners cleaned it and Lea painted it, it looks about a gajillion times better.
(And just because some smart-ass always asks exactly how much a gajillion is, it's a one with a bazillion zeroes behind it.)
Once I got there, we painted a second coat on the living room and hallway.
Two weeks ago we were dreading doing the living room. At this point, we paint the living room because we feel like having an easy night. Amazing how perspectives can change. However, we will never like wallpaper, and we will never ever enjoy painting baseboards.
Starting tomorrow: the third and final Weekend Marathon. Be ready.
